Progression Module
The Progression Module is a unit of study which involves students investigating progression routes after post 16. Students must complete a range of tasks such as writing their CV and a covering letter, undertaking a role play interview and creating a university budget. The Progression Module aims to skill students in developing future ambition and writing successful applications. The qualification is worth 30 UCAS points for local universities.
The Progression Module is delivered by form tutors for one hour a week and is compulsory for all students. The qualification has been designed by Leeds Metropolitan University and The University of Huddersfield. Successful completion of The Progression Module will lead to a graduation ceremony at Leeds Metropolitan University.
