Students at The Farnley Academy recently enjoyed a series of exciting reward trips as part of the House system celebrations for Half Term 3. After weeks of hard work, commitment, and positive contributions to the House system, Bronte emerged as the overall winners, earning a well-deserved reward experience.

As a result of their collective efforts, students in Brontë were given the opportunity to choose from a range of activities, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Options included an action-packed session at Lazer Zone, competitive football games at Power League, a relaxing trip to the cinema, or a fun-filled bowling experience.

The trips provided students with a chance to unwind, socialise with their peers, and celebrate their achievements outside of the classroom. Staff members who accompanied the visits commented on the excellent behaviour and positive attitudes demonstrated throughout, reflecting the values promoted by the House system.

The House reward scheme continues to play an important role in recognising student effort, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a strong sense of community across the academy. Congratulations to all students in Bronte House for their fantastic achievement, and we look forward to seeing which House will take the top spot for the ice cream reward at the end of this half term!
