On Thursday 6 November we had another successful annual Prize Presentation Evening. The evening was a delight for all those involved including over 150 attending students who had received special recognition for their effort and attainment last academic year. With over 20 students from last year’s Year 11 returning to us for the occasion and a number of our current students representing all year groups the Sports Hall was full of proud parents and carers. Our amazing choir started proceedings and we were very privileged to have Andy Pickles, a former DJ who had a number of hits in the 1980s with Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers, who is now the CEO of U-Explore, a company that provides careers guidance for students around the country to address the 500 students and visitors as our keynote speaker. Andy kindly agreed to speak at the Academy and shared key messages of both his inspirational career and the importance of our TFA core values. A lovely event and big congratulations to all involved!
