Year 11 have been very grateful for the investment in their experience whilst at The Farnley Academy. The most recent investment has seen a significant improvement to their Mezzanine dining area, additional seating has been added to allow more students to use the space to eat lunch but we have also consulted students on an additional space.
Students met with Mr Stokes to design a more comfortable space that allows them to relax with friends or use for revision after school. The seating was selected by students and along with a new carpet makes the area a great space to work during and after the academy day.
Year 11 have made a fantastic start to their most challenging year at school, I am very proud of them and hopefully such investments reflect this.
