Attendance continues to soar high at The Farnley Academy! With Year 11 already securing two consecutive days of 100% attendance and therefore qualifying for a rewards trip to Flamingo Land, other groups of students have also been recognised for their exceptional attitude and efforts in maintaining excellent attendance. Last half term, form group 7.9 secured 100% attendance as a full class for the entire 8 weeks. Therefore on Tuesday, the form was taken to Nando’s for a celebration lunch by Attendance Leader Miss Hunter and Year 7 Attendance Officer Ms Smith. On Wednesday, The Attendance Team enjoyed delivering Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to every student in school who has successfully held attendance of 97% or above for the year so far. 1000 students have so far met or exceeded our target of 97% attendance! A range of rewards and prizes are planned for the rest of the year including a trip to the cinema or bowling at Christmas for the 100% Attendance Club, non uniform days and other surprise ‘pop up’ events!
