You may be aware that in 2019 students and staff from The Ruth Gorse Academy went on an expedition to Trinidad which has inspired lots of exciting environmental projects to take place across the Gorse Academies Trust.
Here are some of the exciting things we have planned for The Farnley Academy!
- A living wall will be constructed on the side of the Bronte Building and every form group will be responsible for building a Plantbox for the wall.
- Every year 7 student will plant a tree in the school grounds.
- Year 9 and 10 will take part in a biology challenge quiz.
- All students will have the chance to take part in an environmental project.
Information has been shared with students this week to explain what the 2019 Trinidad Expedition was about the amazing projects we have planned!
It will be fantastic to see the whole school engaged with building something that will go on to have such a positive impact on the school site!
