In the Easter holidays, a number of subjects opted in for some additional revision sessions, in order to prepare our year 11 students for their upcoming unseen assessments.
In the second week of half-term, a small amount of students were invited in to school for some one-to-one sessions and then the rest of the sessions were hosted online. Over the two hour session, English teachers carefully planned an hour of Literature and an hour of Language, ensuring key ideas were embedded to help students be successful.
We are very proud of our students for their hard work and commitment to ensuring success in these unseen exams; the attendance to these sessions evidenced this. In total, both online and within school, 69 students turned up to receive the additional revision. Students gave a big thumbs up at the end of the session when they were questioned if it had been useful.
We wanted to take this opportunity to tell all of those students how exceptional they are and also wish all of our year 11 students luck in their upcoming assessments.
