In October our year 11 students had the opportunity to go to Bradford Alhambra Theatre to see Blood Brothers as they have been studying the play in their English lessons. We are so proud of how the students conducted themselves and they continued to display the core values that they show every day at our school.
Molly and Harry both agreed that they best part of the show was seeing the songs, with some of the songs gaining a permanent place of Molly’s playlist. Aine and Emilia both said it really helped them understand the play better seeing it in real life rather than just through reading the book. Harley’s favourite part was being able to hear the gun shots in real life and seeing people jump at the noise and Jessica loved seeing the part where the brothers first met.
Across the year we have lots more trips booked in to see a variety of shows for our students, keep your eyes peeled for the next one!
