Despite the obvious challenges of the last few years I am delighted to inform you that students continue to be making excellent progress and are attaining to a high standard in all subjects at Assessment Point 1 for this academic year.
Whilst we have been required to adjust our planning somewhat for time missed we continue to deliver challenging lesson content and really push students to do their very best.
Recently I wrote to 30 students in Year 9, 10 and 11 to congratulate them on either very high attainment relative to their stage in education or because they are making exceptional progress from their Key Stage 2 starting point. Both measures indicate a fantastic attitude towards education and clearly a desire to always do their very best.
The mock exam series competed by Year 11 recently has indicated the highest performance ever from a cohort and shows great deal of potential to continue to improve over their final 6 months. I am excited in supporting them to achieve this.
My message to students in always very simple; If they are in school and have a desire to learn they will always do exceptionally well.
