Yesterday we were joined by Medical Mavericks to explore Careers in Health. After discussing careers in the healthcare industry and given instructions for each area, students were able to freely experiment with the numerous tools used in many areas of healthcare such as ECG, ultrasound, phlebotomy, optometry, blood pressure, reflexes and key hole surgery. This was a fantastic opportunity and students really enjoyed all of the sessions throughout the day yesterday.
