Our Year 11 cohort are entering their final few months at TFA. We are currently completing our second set of mock examinations to ensure that students have an accurate picture on how to improve over the coming weeks.
To help students prepare for the summer and achieve their best possible final grades we have a number of key initiatives in place:
We held a Year 11 revision evening to support students and families in revising at home. This showcased general revision tips and also subjects specific guidance, in addition, students received a range of resources on the evening to help them work at home. Attendance on the night was excellent and resources have been shared in school for those unable to attend.
- All sessions take place on a one-to-one basis and will last approximately 50 minutes, the packages are designed to last between 3 and 6 weeks depending on the level of support required.
- Revision after school is in full swing and session are being very well attended. Particularly in maths, history and geography.
The summer examination timetable can be found on the academy website and “real” examinations start as we return form the Easter break. Examinations this year return to normal after the previous 3 years of disruption form the pandemic.
We wish our students al the best in the future and know that hard work and attendance to school makes all the difference.
