In the last week of term, 8 of our students took part in Leeds School Games which took place in Middleton Leisure Centre.
The TFA students were thrilled to see lots of other school participating in the event. The students took part in 8 different activities e.g. boccia, long jump, basketball, target practise, bowling, curling, cricket and speed bounce.
First, all the students listened carefully to the instructions that were given. They then had a practice session for each the activities. In the tournament, each team had 7 minutes for each game.
We were so impressed with how the students worked as a team to collect as many points as they could. TFA voted that their favourite activity was Bocci!. All our students helped to cheer each other on and it made the afternoon a very enjoyable day. The Farnley team came in at a very respectable 4th place.
