The geography department took the year 10 cohort to the Holderness Coast in the final few weeks of school to complete their fieldwork section of their GCSE. Pupils were looking at coastal landforms such as Flamborough dinosaur and we also travelled to Hornsea to see if the strategies the local council had put in place were working to stop the devastating erosion and longshore drift which impacts many locations along this stretch of coastline. Both year 10 trips had fantastic attitudes and really loved seeing the geography they learn about in the classroom in front of them!
