On the 10 October we hosted our first Welcome to Year 10 Evening! The aim of the evening was to provide parents/carers with information about what they child is studying and how they can best be supported at home.
During the evening Mr Cosgrove, Senior Vice Principal spoke to families with a focus on how to be successful in key stage 4.
Curriculum Leaders from English, Maths, Science and Citizenship shared details of their courses and gave tips for parents/carers to support their child at home.
Families then went through to the canteen area where teachers from all subject areas were available to share details of their course and answer and any questions.
It was a fantastic night with over 75 families attending and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive!
