Within PSHE year 11 students have had the opportunity to practice their CV writing in preparation for their Post 16 applications, and to support any part time job applications.
Year 11 have looked at the key features and skills that make up a CV:
- The importance of a personal statement
- Grades/Examinations/Achievements
- Key attributes and skills such as attendance, behaviour record, time management, leadership skills
- References and the role that they play
We do hope the students found these sessions useful.
As always if students require any further support, they are able to speak to their PSHE teacher who can provide additional help with re-drafting these. In addition, our wonderful careers team are also available to help.
