We are delighted to share the fantastic success of our recent Bronte House reward event, held to celebrate their victory in last year’s House Competition. With nearly 300 students in attendance, it was an afternoon full of excitement, laughter, and well-deserved celebration!

Bronte students were treated to an unforgettable experience on the school field, with a range of inflatables including Total Wipeout, a 40ft inflatable obstacle course, and a thrilling bungee run. The fun didn’t stop there – food stalls served up delicious hot dogs and fries, while students enjoyed a range of games and friendly football matches. The event truly reflected the spirit of teamwork, determination, and pride that helped Bronte House earn their win.

We are incredibly proud of all students who contributed to Bronte House’s success last year and hope this reward inspired others to aim high in the ongoing House Competition.

Looking ahead to this year’s standings, we’re excited to announce that Moore House is currently in the lead, showing impressive performance across a variety of school activities, including pop up events and curriculum challenges. If they maintain their lead until the end of Half Term 1, Moore House students will win a Domino’s Pizza Party – a reward that has been very popular in previous years!

As always, our House system remains an important part of life at The Farnley Academy, encouraging healthy competition, collaboration, and a strong sense of community.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to celebrating more student achievements in the months ahead.

Kind regards,
Miss Hart
House Leader
