Parents evenings are a great opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers and discuss their work, effort and progress so far this year. We strongly advise you to attend along with your child so you are able to find support them in their learning.

Booking Parents Evening Appointments
The Farnley Academy App is now how parents / carers can make bookings for Parents Evening appointments. Bookings will open a couple of weeks prior to the date of the planned event, and a message will notify parents / carers that the event is live and bookings can be made.
To gain access to the Parent App, please search for The Farnley Academy within your app store and select to download the app. It looks like the green icon below.
All parents / carers should have received an enrolment code for the app, but should you require this sending again please email us at [email protected] and we can provide enrolment details.
To book appointments you need to select the parent meetings icon from the dashboard, which is highlighted in orange below. This will then the display events which you can book (once bookings are live). Alternatively, you can also access parent meetings, by selecting the parent portal button highlighted by the red circle, then select the parent meetings icon from there.

Please note, that if parents / carers wish to make separate appointments for their child please inform us via [email protected] so we can set this up within the app to allow you to do so. Both parents / carers would then need to be enrolled on the app to make their separate appointments.
If you can’t access the Parent App to make appointments, please contact the academy and we can add appointments on your behalf.
