On Friday the 5th October 878 students and 60 members of staff visited Alton Towers as part of the Annual Rewards Trip. In order to qualify students needed to have earned their Platinum Certificate worth 200 credits and not have been placed in Isolation for the whole of the academic year of 2017-2018.
There was lots of fun and laughter as students tried the new ride The Wicker Man which unifies cutting edge special effects with classic wooden coaster technology. Many braved the twists and turns of the Nemisis, faced the speed of Rita, went dizzy on Smiler and were fearless on the vertical drop roller-coaster Oblivion. It was an excellent day out enjoyed by both students and staff
To ensure your child secures a place next year they must achieve their Diamond Certificate which is worth 300 credits and again not be placed in Isolation. We look forward to celebrating your child’s success when they visit Alton Towers next year.
