On Thursday 23rd January, the Art and Design Technology teams invited parents and carers into the Academy for their annual Engage evening. The team led 2 sessions for visitors to experience lessons from the Creative Design department. There was a fantastic turnout for the event, and parents and carers worked through a whistle stop tour of a coursework project in Art, and problem solved to design for a range of clients and contexts in Design and Technology. The team were really impressed with the quality of work produced on the evening by both students and parents/carers alike- look out for a display of their ideas in Asquith building coming soon!
