On 17 March, all students took part in our fourth Be Smart Day of the year.
As part of our PSHCE curriculum, students were engaged in activities exploring the key themes of Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education, including the delivery of the statutory Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) framework.
We were pleased to welcome the Leeds United Foundation, who delivered sessions as part of their Positive Choice programme. Students also heard from inspirational guest speakers who shared powerful personal stories about overcoming challenges. In addition, representatives from Wetherby Young Offenders Institute provided students with an insight into life within a custodial setting.
The feedback from the day has been extremely positive, and we would like to thank the PSHCE team for their hard work in planning and delivering such a meaningful experience for our students.
