On Tuesday 12 February fifty of our Year 8 students got to experience both a taster of what it would be like to study GCSE Drama and a detailed insight into the job roles and careers in the Performing Arts Industry. This involved a backstage tour of the City Varieties Theatre, a job roles in the industry workshop that was lead by the theatre staff of Leeds Grand Theatre and a full experience of what a typical GCSE Drama lesson would be like. It really was a creative and informative day for year 8’s who have shown exceptional potential in Drama. We hope to see you all at options evening!
