The fifth half term of this academic year saw the eagerly anticipated return to extra-curricular clubs for all students. Last week, almost 40% of students at The Farnley Academy attended one extra-curricular club after school. For many students, this is the first time they have been able to participate in our wide range of clubs all year. For our Year 7s, this is the first time they have ever been able to do so since joining us in September. We are so pleased that they are making the most of the fantastic clubs available and look forward to more students attending.
At The Farnley Academy we pride ourselves on having a wide variety of clubs so that every student has something they cannot wait to be part of at the end of a school day. From Warhammer with Mr Vere, to David Attenborough Club with Miss Fowler, to Rugby with Mr Whitehead, it is safe to say that there truly is something for everyone.
If you are currently not taking part in any clubs, please have a look at our timetable. We are sure there will be something for you! If not. Please speak to our Student Leadership Team or Mr Williams and tell us. With the weather improving, the sun shining, and more students joining each week, the final term at The Farnley Academy is set to the best!
