At The Farnley Academy, staff are continuing to recognise and reward students for their commitment and enthusiasm towards extra-curricular activities. As part of this effort, a new initiative has been introduced to celebrate those who consistently attend enrichment clubs.
Students participating in the “BIG 3” clubs — Rowing, Karate, and Volleyball — can now earn a special reward. Any student who attends 20 sessions in one of these clubs will receive a free academy t-shirt as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
The school was delighted to recently present the first batch of t-shirts to some of its most committed attendees. This marks the beginning of what staff hope will be an ongoing celebration, with many more students expected to achieve this milestone in the coming months.
Recipients are encouraged to wear their t-shirts with pride during club sessions and PE lessons, showcasing their achievement and inspiring others to get involved.
All three clubs remain free of charge, providing students with an excellent opportunity to try something new, develop their skills, and grow in confidence within a supportive environment. Parents and carers are encouraged to continue motivating their children to take part and make the most of these valuable experiences.
