As part of the year 10 Geography Curriculum, students are required to complete a field trip as part of their study. On such trips, students are taught how to handle data in an outdoor setting, and understand how they can evaluate changing landscapes. We ran a successful trip on a sunny day a few weeks ago to Hornsea and Flamborough.

110 students joined the day. Students specifically looked at the impact of coastal management and coastal landforms. It was excellent to see students measuring the coastal landscape, assessing the change over time and working with one another to record data. This vital experience will help students in their understanding of Paper 1 and Paper 3 exams.

See below some great pictures of the day!
