This week the candidates for Head girl and Head boy at The Farnley Academy delivered speeches during assemblies to all year groups. They outlined why they should be elected based on personal qualities and skills as well as their initial plans should they be given the responsibility. Following this every student in school voted for their Head boy and Girl representing our democratic society.
Well done to Maisie, Erin, Alyssa, Charlotte, Ben, Harley, Osman and Harrison for a very successful campaign week to become Head Boy & Girl. The votes are now in and are currently being counted. The winner will be announced next week. Good luck to all!
