Our year 10 Health and Social Care students had the opportunity to see some of the fantastic facilities on offer at Leeds Beckett University. This included corridors set up like real hospital wards, with working oxygen masks and hospital beds. The students were able to have a go at using the beds, stethoscopes, blood pressure monitors and even experiment with the £30,000 manikins. The manikins can have their pressure taken, react to CPR, go into shock, have their eyes inspected and even cry.
