As we now approach the final week of the first half-term of this academic year, I wanted to write to report on the fantastic start that year 7 have made.
As the SLT lead for the year group, I have been visiting lessons, talking to students around the academy and conducting assembly on a weekly basis. The behavior of the year group is excellent – alongside this, the engagement and effort within their lessons has been brilliant to see!
Our students embrace the behavior system that we have in place with open arms. One student in particular, Ruben Butterworth, achieved 7 praise comments in one week from 7 different teachers! I am overjoyed with attitudes that the year group have as a whole, and know that students will go on to achieve fantastic things.
