Our student leaders represented our local community at Leeds Civic Hall where they contributed to important discussions about how the Youth Budget is spent in areas such as Farnley, Wortley, Pudsey, Calverley and Farsley. The two projects that they approved were a project that gives free football sessions to 11-17 year olds and another that aims to teach street safety to children. They had a great time on a tour of the council chambers and learnt about how Leeds City Council operates.
