Over the past 2 weeks we’ve had a unique experience for our Year 7s as part of their Science lessons!
We have been taking part in a 10 day chick hatching programme through Living Eggs and were provided with 10 eggs and an incubator! A webcam was set up so that students could watch in awe as the chicks hatched and then they have visited Year 7 Science classes as part of a lesson on animal behaviours.
Living Eggs ethically place all chicks at the end of the Programme. They have many free range farms across the country who rear our chicks in delightful surroundings. Many also go to small holders, enthusiasts and hobbyists.
