Recently our Student Leaders went on a trip to London. The purpose of this trip was to reward them for their exceptional hard work this year on The Student Leadership Team.
Students went to The Houses of Parliament where they had a guided tour of the House of Commons and The House of Lords. Student Leaders had the chance to ask questions about legislation, the history of the houses and the democratic process. Students were able to attend the public gallery where they watched a live debate in the House of Commons.
They then enjoyed some site seeing around London and were given time to take pictures of the famous tourist attractions. We finished the day with a meal at Giraffe where Student Leaders enjoyed a meal. Luckily the sun was shining, Student Leaders had an amazing time and they represented the Academy impeccably.
