We were delighted to welcome all of our new colleagues to The Farnley Academy this September. Colleagues with a range of experiences and skills in both teaching and non-teaching roles have made a fantastic start to the academic year.
To ensure that all colleagues could hit the ground running a carefully planned package of induction has taken place including two highly informative CPD days at the start of the year, as well as an induction day that took place before the summer holidays.
Miss Gill, Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning, said “The quality of teaching across the academy has been exceptional from the very first lessons. New colleagues have been quick to adapt their teaching and behaviour management skills to ensure that Academy policies are adhered to and that, most importantly, our students at The Farnley Academy continue to have access to World Class teaching from year 7 onwards.”
