Last week all students were involved in their Year group celebration assembly led by their Head of Year. A variety of students were praised for a various of reasons. These included improvements in attendance, engagement in lessons and extra-curricular, positive behaviour and over all kindness.
Teachers also choose specific students who have either made fantastic progress in their learning in class or have consistently shown one or more of our school values. Ambition, Resilient and Kind.
Celebrations at The Farnley Academy create opportunities for fun, amusement, entertainment, and recreation, which can help to reduce stress, tensions, anxieties, and other factors that can negatively affect morale, participation, or engagement. Congratulations to all students who were involved and praised in these assemblies and keep up the good work. The next Celebration assembly focusing on Extra Curricular will be next half term.
