We have had a wonderful couple of weeks with regards to Rowing here at TFA. Four of our students (pictured) Abi (Y10), Luke (Y10), Luke (Y7) and Trudy (Y7) were selected for the GORSE Rowing squad that participated at the British Indoor Rowing Championships in London. We had some truly amazing results with Luke coming second in the Year 7 race, Trudy (13th) in the Y7 girls competition. Also, there were fantastic performances from Luke (8th) and Abi (16th) in some incredibly tough Y10 races. At national level, this is an incredible achievement and we send huge congratulations to the full team.
We then carried this through to the recent Row Leeds event, where we carried home 6 medals. This included a thoroughly deserved Bronze in the team relay alongside two Golds, one Silver and two more Bronze individual medals. Well done to all involved!
