We are really excited that we are now able to offer the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award to our Year 10 students. This took place on the 26-28 June and consisted of 3 days of walking and 2 nights camping. On the first day students started in Keighley and had to walk to Blackhills campsite in Wilsden. They set off on the second day and walked to a campsite in Addingham and on the final day students walked from Addingham to Guiseley.
Students also have to complete activities which count towards the volunteering, physical and skills sections.
They were fantastic and showed great resilience and teamwork throughout the 3 days. We are so proud of them.
