On 20th July our 68 strong cast of Matilda, alongside their teachers, were treated to an all expenses paid trip to London. This was to reward them for their hard work and commitment to this year’s school production Matilda. The students had an early start before boarding the coach to London where it was a sing song of show tunes all the way! On arrival students were treated to Hard Rock Cafe lunch before taking a walk across London to take in the sights, including a quick photo opportunity at Buckingham Palace. Then onto the main event – a matinee performance of Wicked at The Appollo Victoria Theatre, before heading back on the coach to Leeds. It was a wonderful day out, for our hard working and deserving students. We hope it has inspired them to further their own career in the Performing Arts.
