Meet our 5 pupils who were successful in the application process and have been selected to go to Trinidad in March 2024. The GORSE Academies Trust has received funding from the Turing Scheme to take 5, year 9 students from our academy on an 8-day visit to Trinidad in March 2024 with 3 other GORSE academies. The visits will focus on the geography and sciences of our natural world, in a truly unique location. In Trinidad, the students will visit a local school and see what life is like for school children in Trinidad, visit natural wonders such as beaches, caves and waterfalls to experience the fauna and flora, and visit areas of the island not accessible to tourists or many local residents. Expert guides will ensure the students are immersed in the wonders of the natural environment Trinidad has to offer!
