On Thursday 4 September the Drama department took the Year 11 Drama cohort to see War Horse at The Leeds Grand theatre and what a wonderful spectacle of a performance they saw.
This powerfully moving and imaginative drama takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France. As an audience member you soon forget you are watching puppeteers in control of the puppet horse and get lost in the magic of the production and awe and wonder of the set design.
The students were engrossed in the production and have returned to school eager to write about their experiences.
