Our Year 11 cohort are now entering their final weeks at the academy, they will complete their public examinations by Mid-June and move on to exciting new challenges in Post-16.
In order to support them being successful we have a number of measures both new and tried and tested that will be supporting their revision of content and embedding of key skills:
- After school revision has been exceptionally well attended and fuelled by our revision café
- Weekend and holiday tutoring has started and session 1 was attended by 35 students. We know that this had a huge impact on grades in the previous 2 cohorts. A large number of students have signed up to attend more sessions to support their preparation.
- A study revision website is nearly complete to support students when at home
We are really confident that this cohort will perform very well in public examinations and we will continue to support and challenge them over the coming weeks.
