We would like to say well done to our Y8 students who are taking part in extra-curricular activities this year. It is great to see so many of regularly attending clubs each week.
Our extra-curricular stars of year 8 are Esme P who has already received 4 certificates for attending 6 sessions in different categories and Noah D, Sooliha B and Natalie P who have received 3 certificates. Who will be the first Y8 student to attend all 6 categories and receive out Excellence in Extra-Curricular certificate and badge?
Kindness is one of our Core Values at The Farnley Academy and students receive kindness stamps for doing kind acts around the academy. If students fill their kindness box with stamps, they can visit Mr Stokes for a Golden Envelope, containing a shopping voucher as a reward for their kindness. Student also receive kindness tokens based on the number of stamps they receive so it also contributes towards the house competition. Leading the way on the kindness for Y8 is Karl S, Qanit W. Caleb C, Megan M, Natalie P and Esme P. Thank you to these students for displaying our Core Values and spreading kindness around the academy.
