On Tuesday 20th June, we had a group of year 8 students visit York Castle Museum. Within the museum, students were able to explore artefacts and information, from the Georgian period, all the way up to the 1960s and 1970s. In particular, students very much enjoyed seeing the Victorian prison, visiting the Victorian school and street and also found the first world war exhibit very interesting. Students had an educational and enjoyable day experiencing all that the museum had to offer!
