At The Farnley Academy, we want to encourage students to try a range of different activities and experiences. We have a fantastic range of clubs on offer from No Planet B Club, The Farnley Files, Science Club and more!
In order to encourage students to do as many extra curricular clubs as possible we have a system of certificates in place. We have 6 categories of extra-curricular clubs; Sports, The Big 3, Revision, Cultural Capital, SMSC & MBV, Creative.
When students complete 6 clubs in a category they receive a certificate and are then encouraged to try an activity from another category. If students complete all 6 categories they receive the Excellence in Extra-Curricular certificate and a badge to wear on their unform with pride.
We are so pleased that so many students are receiving their certificates during their PD lessons. So far 389 students have received 1 certificate or more and 93 students have received 2 certificates or more!
Massive well done to the following students who have received 4 certificates already…
